Mmm, slept well!
Blueberry, mango, banana, coconut milk, yogurt, and tofu were put into a blender. Mark and Patricia drink this healthy special beverage every morning. Its texture is unique, but the taste is excellent! You should try it.
Patricia said that she traveled when she was young, and lots of people helped her. "So, it's my turn." Ah, pay it forward. I remembered the three words which Ellen and Gloria (Day31) taught me.
I gave hearts with wings to them before Patricia left pretty early to go to work, and she displayed it on a shelf. Mark prepared breakfast for me, looks delicious!
Got calories, then he brought a map of Canada. I'm going to go on this road, and visit here... oh, I've got a still long way, about 2,500km? It is necessary to hurry because my visa expires in a month.
Forgot taking a picture of Patricia, but Mark in their beautiful backyard.
Thank you for having me, Mark and Patricia! Danny introduced Paul, and Paul introduced Mark, therefore I could meet you two. That's kinda miracle. Staying at your new home was really relaxing! :)
Left Mark&Patricia's home before noon, and went on the bicycle road, Velo Route, which Richard (Day62) taught me.
What a narrow road.
I biked comfortably because it was not hot, if I remember correctly.
Got to L'Assomption and checked the route I should go on next day, with ice coffee at Tim Hortons. By the way, I really don't recommend that you have a laptop as a companion on your biking trip. It's so heavy...
Under The Big Something Tree by a school in the end of the town. I somehow managed to set up my tent whose pole is broken, however it wouldn't work for one more month... gotta find a sport shop as soon as possible.

It's about time to have my tent whose pole is dead fixed, or purchase new one.
Apparently the opening time of the sport shop is 10am, therefore I just relaxed at Starbucks with coffee named "Brazil," yeah this day was the middle of FIFA World Cup. By the way, there are millions of this American cafes in Vancouver, but other cities. I've seen them in only big town such as Toronto and Montreal.
Went to the sport store after 10am, however they hadn't opened yet. How come? ...Ugh I got it, it's holiday. Those who are doing business today are fast food restaurants.
Well then, let's move on to the west. ...West? Yes west, because I can stay at Mark's tonight, he is a brother of Paul! (Day63/Day64)
Found this boulevard on the way, nihon means "Japan" in Japanese. It rained off and on.
Mark and his wife, Patricia told me that they would come back home at the night, thus I killed time at McDonald's and a cafe in the daytime.
Goddammit, no more beast! ...Huh? Stuffed animal? The wife and husband plus this tiger welcomed me being dripping wet from the pretty strong rain. I got a warm shower, hot tea, and a fluffy bed. Ah, I'm in seventh heaven...

I got cold feet when a staff of Tim Hortons said "Bonjour" to me, however she was a bilingual thankfully. It seems that there are people who speak both French and English around here because this town is close to the provincial boundary.
There was a sign written in French on the door of the washroom though.
There was a sign written in French in a rest area too.
Thousands of RVs run around everywhere in Canada. Lots of families take vacations and make trips?
"Oka" means "hill" in Japanese, FYI.
Phew, downhill.
Almost there, the second largest city in Canada, Montreal. A brother of Paul (Day63/Day64) lives here and I can stay at his house, tomorrow though. He and his wife are out of town today.
Apparently it is going to be a national holiday of Quebec tomorrow, June 24th.
I visited a few sports stores, but unfortunately they'd already been closed today. Hmm, then tomorrow morning. Will my tent work tonight?
Headed for Mt Royal Park which is near the downtown to get a sleeping place for tonight. I heard that Paul had stayed there long time ago, so just wanted to see it.
...There are people running on the trails on the small mountain since it is a big city, Montreal. I found a narrow path and went into the woods, well that'll do, I'm pretty bushed... But some guys came up and took French leave when they noticed me.
Found a raccoon, and loud noises made by a group of people probably drinking through the all night, because it was the Holiday Eve I guess. Wasn't able to relax...

Vegetarian omelet cooked by Veena. It was so good!
Skyped with Danny again and we finally could see his face this time. Hey Danny, how have you been? I will bike one more month to get to St.John's!
Took a picture with Vasu before leaving. Btw I cut my own hair, but not my beard. It's pretty long now, eh?
With Paul,
and with Veena.
Okay, I perfectly recharged my energy. Let's keep biking until reaching the goal without taking a day-off.
Thank you so much, Veena and Paul! I had a brilliant time with you guys and got over my fatigue. Look forward to visiting your new house in Perth in the near future. :) And Vasu, I really enjoyed talking with you! Hope that we watch FIFA World Cup games together with some beer. ;)
Okay, shall we go? It's balmy today.
Little by little. Slow and steady wins the race.
The ferry terminal connecting to Quebec is close-by.
$2 for cyclists. Wow, super cheap.
Because the distance is super short, and also the ferry is super small. With a toonie, I was waiting a seaman walking around to collect tolls, but he said "Ah no, that's okay" Oh really? Thank you, man!
Got to the other side of the river three minutes later. I am in Quebec now, however there is one big problem... French. They speak French as their first language in this province. No way, learning just English is still tough for me... I'd better get out of here ASAP.

Had my first dinner on the day beside this abandoned restaurant in the evening.
It's great that shoulders are well paved in Quebec as Richard (Day62) said, but the only one problem is that I don't understand French. Arrived in Lachute and there is...
a cemetery... oh my pole, this is a tragedy... it's about time to go to a sports shop to have it repaired or buy new one.
